As far as thickness, it is a little thicker, and definitely a little lighter.
According to my friend (who knows Elliot very well, he was the buyer for Thoroughbred music here in Tampa for 15 years, which Elliot owned) The body and neck are made from handpicked woods by a custom shop in Green Bay. All the assembly, finishing, inlay, etc.. is done here In Clearwater.
I am pretty jazzed about these, really felt like home right from go. And again, the attention to detail is amazing.
