    Can you play both of them or are they not in your area? I would play both and see which one feels right to you if that is possible.

      I had a Vester once upon a time. It had a cool "rainbow-snakeskin" (kinda hard to describe, actually) graphic, bound maple/rosewood neck and one of those crappy non-locking trems with a Kahler-type nutlock and finetuners. It was actually well built, but had really bad hardware and electronics. It was a pretty good guitar for the player just starting out, but would probably feel pretty sad for a guy with a SL2H.

      Hey, now that I think of it, I had a Yamaha RGX at roughly the same period of time. That one was an entry-level RGX, and therefore was cheap and not very good...but as far as I recall, I kinda liked that one.

      Higher-end Yamahas are pretty good for being imports. Definitely better than any Vester.
