  • I dont know - just can't shut up about this

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/AXN-MR-SCAR...w-a-:rk:7:pf:0

The usual AXN nonsense, but do you even think the sustain block fits in this contraption?

Is this like Alien Axe re-branded or something?

USA built guitar with an unlicensed Fender headstock... I think not.
These look exactly like the byoguitar.com kit bodies and necks.

              http://www.byoguitar.com/Guitars/BYO...S-SH-Body.aspx
Electronics cavity is dead on identical.
Little contouring on the horns is about the only difference I can see.

He may be a supreme douche and price gouger, but his stuff is usually legit.

However I'd never buy anything branded from him. That's just fucking hilarious.

I acknowledge people ragging on AlienXNation but don't know the backstory and it might be none of my business. (I have no skin in that game.) Though, I must admit I get a lot of value out of his website http://charvelusa.com/models.html which has immensely helped me to identify Charvel imports ever since I got back into the guitar hobby back in 2016.

Have to agree here. If not for that site, I and the many people I've told about it (however, I usually send them to audiozone.dk first) would be clueless on these amazing guitars.

I suppose if your vintage stuff isn't ACTUALLY for sale, you would price it like he does!
