    I've never thought to myself "I'd like an SG", but this one was offered as a trade for my Laney VH100R that had been on sale for about five years. I figured that even if I don't like it, it'd be easier to sell than the Laney!

    It's not bad though. It has seen some action and I don't know what the pickups are (guessing they're not stock) but they seem alright. I'll pull them out and have a look when I give it a setup.

    Anyways, enough jabber, here's some crappy iPhone pics.

    Nice! They're double cream, so definitely not stock Gibson pups. The bridge looks like a DiMarzio Super Distortion.

      Is it a SG Faded? Looks a lot like mine. I don't play guitars without a whammy too much
      these days, but I grew up on one a million years ago. Always liked them..

          Yep, it's the worn/faded series. Never tried an SG, but I had an LP Studio worn/faded cherry "vintage mahogany" for about 12 years that was pretty nice.
