Newly built 9 string

Here is a newly built 9 string that shipped out two weeks ago. I didn't have a clue as to how to play it. But, a customer wanted it and I thought it was truly badass!!!

Awesome! I love my 8-string, but I don't think I could go up to a 9.

Love that burl top and the greenburst is really unique!

But yeah, 8 string is almost not a guitar. 9 string isn't a guitar anymore.

If you've played a lot of bass and a lot of guitar 8 string is pretty cool after you get used to it. Anything more than 8 and I don't think you can actually play it like a guitar. Just the jump between 7 and 8 is tremendous. I can't imagine the difference between 8 and 9. But that is a really beautiful instrument.

I don't think the jump is really tremendous. Just the tighter/closer string spacing takes getting used to. After playing my 8 for awhile, all my other guitars feel like toys with such thinner necks.

Its is bad ass! Overkill (IMO) but seriously bad ass!!!

I still can't wrap my head around it after looking several times. To me, it looks like one of those "impossible logic" visual puzzles, like.....

I would play that, I might not be able to play it well, but good lord that is a beautiful instrument. Love to see that in a 6 string. Beautiful work there
