  • NGD - Kramer(ESP) Archtop Stagemaster

Haven't bought a Kramer in years and when this came up for a decent price, just had to have it. Always wanted an archtop neck-thru Stagemaster and my favorite configuration is a 1-hum, 1-volume setup. Flip-flop red was the icing on the cake. For those that don't know, these were made entirely by ESP in Japan. It is an ESP Horizon with a Kramer logo on the headstock and Kramer neck inlays.

      Very cool.

I don't know much about Kramers, but I like that a bunch. What is the body wood?

You know what, I really don't know. It's a maple thru-neck but the catalogs don't say what the body wood is.

I had a late 87 Stagemaster custom I awesome guitars.
Mine was maple neck thru with mahogany body wings. Most were basswood wings.
Check your electronics cavity and see what body wood yours is.

              Congrat! Looks in great nick!

Always wondered why Eddie VH didn't use one of these at the time? Single p/u like he used, Floyd AND 24 frets!

Guess he still doesn't use 24 frets?

              Likes his bolt-ons I guess?!

Nice one! I can't recall ever seeing those with just one pickup. The color looks similar to Jackson's red/blue pearl.

Was worth a try, still no clue on the body wood.
