  • 1980 BC Rich Mockingbird Supreme

Having lost, almost completely, my interest in Charvel/Jackson products (built in the last 20 years) I went back to my roots about 3-4 years ago. BC Rich 'Vintage Era' guitars. It seems my timing was pretty good because gems like this one can be had for well under under $2k...been having a blast searching and finding these great guitars.

Yep...definitely has stringers and is likely Koa underneath, based on the wood I can see in the control and truss rod cavities.

        Nice score bro! HNGD!!!
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Nice! Is that considered a short horn or no?

TJ not a shorthorn, El Monte shape. and for me BCR and Jacksons are tied, they are very different in feel and tone, but great in there own. Its my fender/gibson i guess.

Ah, I see it now... thicker lower horn. I forgot there was the three Mockingbird shapes.

That's awesome! The natural headstock goes well with the black.
