  • Interesting Gibson Les Paul Lites !!

I love these guitars. Ebony boards, thin mahogany bodies, mini-humbuckers, coil-split switch & a bonus MOP Gibson logo. Circa 1988. Check 'em out !!

Can't say, but it is a Gibson one. The tuners are Grovers but Gibson style. Maybe original all around. Not sure !!

Cool! I remember some Custom Lites and Studio Lites, but I don't recall seeing those with the mini pups.

Some of those came with a Stienbeger trans trem too.
                Very cool IMO.
There is an 87 custom light close to me in TSB but the price is way out of my reach.

I don't like single cut bodies, but I do love mahogany bodies and ebony fretboards... I'd probably love how those sound....

I remember those from the 80s as well. Thought they looked nice in the MF catalogs, but then the "real" LPC/LPS on the next page looked nicer

Gibson simply called them "special" pickups when I called them. Very ballsy, surprisingly so actually !!
