Cool. I wonder if anyone else scored an Ibeenhad recently?

Oh, and for us Ibeenhad newbies, can you please say what the heck it is and what year and where it was made?

I'm guessing those are the original pickups. Would they have been the same pickups mine came with?

I'm trying to wade thru jemsite, but not getting very far.

Hey DonP, if yours is a 1990 then the pickups would have been:
      Neck: IBZ V1
      Middle: IBZ S1
      Bridge: IBZ V2

this ones a 98...i've got a 92 stripped to bare wood with the same v pickups yours has in it...and honestly i like the pickups in this one better...little warmer and more midrange not as much harshness...the necks on them are both very different...my 92 has an ultra thin neck and this one has a little more wood to it...not much...but more like the jems...i also have a 92 saber 450 (very hard to find) with the same v pickups and the mahogany body makes quite a tonal difference...all of mine have rosewood fingerboards as i thats what i prefer (and why i dont have a 550...lol)...i would imagine your 92 has the ultra thin neck as well making it a prime candidate for shredding...i saw your post...if you like the neck then yes these guitars are pretty much as good as anything out there and i really think the edge is on par with a real floyd rose...most i have seen people have modded with different pickups (something i'll prob do to my stripped one) but ive never heard of anyone complaining about the necks or other hardware (besides the fact that cosmo black tends to oxidize pretty easily)...so yeah you got a good one i believe...now stop reading this and go play it...lol...d.m.

Oh, I do play it LOL! It's addicting. Mine actually a 1990 and yes, the neck is thin. VERY similar to a DK1 neck I picked up (not sure what year - it's 24 frets though).

This just confirms my love of thin necks and big frets.
