  • NGD! Benford walnut super custom!

First off a huge thanks to Steve Benford for all his amazing work on this thing, and also thanks to veemagic! It was his thread that led me to this great builder.
    here's the specs:
    # 1 piece Black Walnut body
    # 5A Quilted Maple top. Trans Black
    # Indian Rosewood neck and fretboard
    # Reverse headstock
    # 23 frets
    # No fretboard inlays. Side dots only
    # B headstock inlay
    # Kahler 7330 bridge
    # Direct mount pickups
    # Dimarzio Airzone Neck and EVO 2 bridge PU's
    # Master volume
    # 2-way mini switch
    # P/P series/parallel under volume
    # All access neck joint
    # Electrosocket jackcup
    # Tusq nut
    # Sperzel locking tuners

Oh, and go ahead and let the Kahler hate fly, im ready for it haha.

Very nice! Interesting with 23 frets. The only other guitar I can remember with 23 frets was some weird Peavey. And no Kahler hate here... since it's a fixed bridge.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

I can't decide if I like the front or the back better. Both are gorgeous!

Dude that turned out great! I remember seeing it when I picked mine up and knew it was going to be something special, but WOW! How do you like that rosewood neck? I am so glad you found Steve. He is a true hidden treasure.
