  • NGD:For my girl.

    Got this today.
Was a wall hanger guitar and the previous owner gave it to my as a thank you gift for helping them out.
Cleaned it all up and I decided I'm going to give it to my 8 year old daughter as a surprise.
Nice build quality for a Squire.
From what I can tell, it is a 3 piece body and it has a nice slab of dark Rosewood on the neck and the dot inlays are actually MOP.
Nice shell pink finish with only two small nicks on the back.

    Not bad for a freebee.

        Thanks guys.
She got her first guitar when she was 5. She loves to play through Daddy's amp instead of her little practice amp.
She likes the GT-8 with all it's "magical sounds" as she puts it.

Here she is with her first guitar.

She gets the new one in a few weeks for her 9th birthday.
Decided not to give it to her for Christmas as she already had a nice haul under the tree.

Awesome. Gotta love someone passing on the love of guitars to a new generation. Great Dad indeed.

Although you risk infecting her with GAS!
