Great work all around, Sully! Like everyone else, I'm loving that Spanish Cedar burst!

It's not "kill you dead" toxic. It's more "really irritating" toxic. Red cedar slivers will generally cause swelling and irritation around the sliver site. In extreme cases it can cause blistering. Of course sealing it behind a clear coat will take care of an sliver issues.

Some of today's work involved a guitar for myself (imagine that!). The body is the white Raven body from the previous post. It's got some ergonomic mods to it so I'll have better upper fret access, and I also painted it with the Chicago Flag, which is where I'm originally from. Thanks to the amazingly talented and supportive Mike Learn for making the stencil for me.

Primed the pickup ring and figured I'd shoot the volume knob to match.

White logo added; sadly, I'm out of silver!

One got color and a logo, the other got more clear.

I like that headstock. No more wall hangers for me. Just a big old nail in the wall and hook that baby on there. Really nice job on that.
