They are all sweet.. but nobody has shown the one I want to see yet... I think it is a '93 Charvel... has the two lipstick pickups and the awesome C tailpiece. That weird vintage blue is an awesome color for these.

Here's my ladies- all stock, early 90's 12-string surfcasters. (Terrible phone-pic, I know- I'll upload some pr0n shots as soon as we're done in the studio and I can get them together again)



The Burgundy Metallic one in the middle is my first, main, and favorite axe- I've yet to find her equal in the 12-string world since I bought it new in '94. Got the black one for a steal off ebay 6 months ago, and it plays/feels amazing too. They inspire lots of jaw-dropping onstage and off- especially as a pair. The red trans one is my most recent find- I've got to get her in for a setup before she makes it into the lineup as of yet.

3 down, 3 to go! Still looking for 12ers in Trans Burst, Trans Orange, and Turquoise.

Has anyone ever seen one of these with a trans burst finish? Orange ones pop up on ebay now and again, and there was a turquoise one in the Charvel catalog, so I at least know they made one. I have yet to come across any evidence of a burst 12er- other than the fact that the trans burst finish was an available option in the catalog.

I still need to get both of these in for a setup, but I'm liking the feel of the mahogany body wood- I'm interested to see how it compares tonally to the ash bodies of the other 2.
