Import or Not

I just purchased an old Charvel off of e-bay at such a ridiculously low price that if nothing else it will make a great project guitar to tinker with. The seller couldn't tell me much about it as it was the girlfriend of the seller that was trying to answer my question; boyfriend out of town I presumed, and the pics don't show much detail. I was wondering if anyone that is more familiar with the different styles that Charvel put out over the years could shed some light on the model of the beast?

It looks like one of the newer Model series but I'm not sure. But it sure's not a USA.

I think it's a standard.2002 charvel model MIJ.

The 12th fret dots makes it look like a non-MIJ to me???

Bingo. The wide dots mean Made in India.

The model should be stamped on the neck heel.

Thanks a bunch for everyone’s input! I googled the 2002 Std. MIJ made in Japan and it looks very close for sure, but yes, the dots at the 12th and 24th frets are much wider apart. I will check out the neck heel once it arrives for the model. I have no idea of its value, but as I stated, it cost me very little so if it’s not worth much no biggy, I’ll rip it apart and have some fun.
