You're right, it is down to personal taste and I personally think that is exactly my taste! Green has to be one of the most underrated/overlooked colours...what a match for the gold parts, stunning.

One of the features/idiosyncrasies I've always loved about Jackson guitars is the shiny black headstock face, no matter what the finish or colour of the body. When the face of the headstock is finished in a matching colour (blue body, blue headstock etc), it looks cheap...imo...I've decided against a few SL1's and SL2's for exactly this reason.

It's a head turner, well done!

I actually really like matched heastock on most guitars, ecpessially on figure top guitars, but not ont this one. it's just perfect like it is!!
(Maby some creme binding on the body could be nice but i am not sure if it's better with or without it...)

a $1500.00 Kelly! Sure looks like it! Let me know when you want to
sell it for "Import Used" Pricing !! So again, tell me how much better
a $5500.00 Custom Shop Kelly is over this one?? Yep...that's what

And yeah, i know that custom shop SHOULD be better but i cant see how, it's just perfect. And i am sure that with that pickups and bridge it will sound better than any custom shop

I would say that it's perfect, but you're missing a gold toggle switch. Therefore, I'll rate it a 22.5 out of 10. Get that switch tip and it will be a 25
