The Charvel 275 is a lower end model, and the negative things about it are a) the side by side single coils at the bridge, which make it hard to swap out for better pickups (installing a normal humbucker would require some routing of the body for example), and b) the single locking trem (where the strings slide thru the back of the trem and aren't clamped in place).
The good news on the trem is you can drop in a double locking Charvel or Jackson trem (the type with the short rear lock screws).
As far as what it's worth, about maybe 10 times the $20 you paid for it, so still a very good deal for you.
