  • Has anyone ever done this?

I was wondering if anyone has ever sawed off most of the top point of a RR body and recut the rear arch a bit so you end up with basically a really compact King V. It'd be kind of cool portability-wise since you could actually fit the thing into a normal gigbag and have less risk of bumping the thing around while maneuvering and stuff, and I think it'd look kinda cool in a way.

Anyone know if anybody has ever done this before? If so, pics?

I remember there was always that one kid at high school who'd decide to "customise" his guitar by cutting the horns off a strat. It would always end up looking like one of those awful teardrop guitars that Brian Jones played

Well, not an amateur job, of course. A professional luthier one.

An XTRR is a Rhoads with 7/8 the bodysize or a regular rhoads.

I think you're reffering to something like this?

I am not sure weather I should like that or hate it.

                          Yeah, why not.

                          I'd play that.
