I'm not bothered by black guitars... but given that I'm still stuck in the whole 80's Hair Metal thing, I can't be going without my crazy graphic finishes!
Production would be faster with all black guitars. Since black guitars show so many swirls , why buff out the finish! They'll look unbuffed in a few months anyway. J/K
I just tried out 2 DK2Ms at guitar center. I'm real picky and the red one seemed alot nicer than the black one. I know that could be mostly set up, but I know people (outside of Guitar Center salesman) can think that individual examples of a model can vary quite a bit.
Anyway it got me thinking - if every Jackson was black it would make buying a guitar easier. I admit I like the looks of white and even bright solid colors, but still I think every Jackson should be black!!!!!!!!
anyone with this kind of opinion should not be allowed to buy anything but black guitars...d.m.
thats retarded- i dont like the black guitar mentaility of dark, heavier metal. Id much rather go with the graphics, flip flop colors or something more flashy. IMO Flashy=better

punishment? no...smartass comment?...yeah...however if you think that everyone shopuld only be given the color choice that you deem necessary...please go ahead and move to a communist state while the rest of us enjoy the freedom to purchase what WE want as well...d.m.
I shouldn't admit this but I like the look of light blue guitars for some reason, haha
But my original point was that since guitars of the same model can be a little different (and I'm picky - maybe paranoid) it would make it easier if they were all black, which is a neutral color that I don't think many people actually hate. Black may not be everybodys favorite, but most people wouldn't mind a black guitar, but I for example don't like that red the DK2 came in, other people may not like the blue and so on.
