Someone should send a picture of this to jackson. the gold OFR and the gold pick up rings look f'n killer against the
grain in the wood. 24 fret bolt on strat head that's not a PC-1?

I thought SD III AND IV were all with quilted maple slab tops and pau ferro boards? This looks like a SD II to me?

Yes. Here's a Dinky HX with the scalloped cutaway I used to own. I still own a black one. And I had a Dinky Reverse that had both the scallop and the cutaway at the neck joint.

I don't think that's the standard on a dinky body. every jackson Dinky (USA) I've ever played didn't have either.

Yeah, I don't know why some models do and some don't, but both my '94 Dinky HX models had that scalloped cutaway, and the two Dinky Reverse models I've had from the mid to later '90s were like that and also had the scalloped cut under the neckplate. A lot of people think it's only been on Fusions, but that's just not true. Then again, these were Professional Dinky (Japanese) models and not USA, so maybe it was something they did for certain imports??? [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

My buddy Joe just emailed me and told me he wants the Koa Charvel back so it will be going back to him tonight. I played it at our gig last night and it played and sounded great. Oh well. No sweat. I still got my 7-up and a nice Model 1A back.
