  • Those little silver circles underneath the bridge

    Sorry I dont know the technical term for them, I lost one of the little silver rings on my y2kv that protects the string as its going through the body. It must have fallen out when I was changing strings. There are 6 of them, 1 for each string. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement? Im worred that the string that is missing one will work its way into the wood of the guitar after a little while with no protection.

    Yes it will, and it probably wont stay in tune as well. Stew mac sells string ferrules here:

    You should be able to get them at any reputable parts supplier.

      ok thanks for the link. just one more question, do I need the 5/16 or 3/8 inch for a y2kv? thanks

        RIP,

        The string ferrules you need are available at ALLPARTS (StewMac only sells the Telecaster style replacements) You need the small ones.
