There was a pic of Dave with a different BC Rich in the infamous poster/interview of him and Dan Spitz (who played a part in hooking him up with Jackson) from Guitar For the Practicing Musician. I'm thinking it was an Ironbird, though. It's kinda easy to get all those Art Nouveau body styles mixed up.

"It has come to my attention that some of the people that have seen the "Of Mice and Men" vidi are stumped why the "young Dave" would be playing a Jackson King V (in fact the famous number "1" silver King V and the kid bled on it). I am amazed that the effort to show a true to form progression of what I played then, and choose, I repeat choose to play now - over Jackson - my ESP DV8 could be mistaken or misinterpreted.

I think that people who are intimidated by people, often act like they did something wrong to them, that way they can hate them.

He didn't do a damn thing to you. I don't give a crap if he's playing a damn Ibanez, he made his statement, and maybe you don't agree with it, but he's the one being handed endorsement deals.

I know a person shouldn't sell a guitar, but there are quite a few people who play a certain guitar, because a certain someone has. I guarantee you see a jump in sales of the DV8.

Maybe he found something he really does like more. If that is the case, would you still be mad at him?

Have we ever heard of anybody *leaving* ESP? Or Ibanez? You hear about players and bands swtiching *to* these two brands all the time. I hear they've got very predatory contracts. One of the mods on the Carvin board made a comment a long time ago about how they were trying to get Steve Vai on their guitars, but Ibanez had him wrapped up pretty tight.
