  • Will a charvel Matte finish get shiny?

I’m considering getting the San Dimas Matte Blue Frost HH, but I’m wondering… Has anyone else had one for a while, and do the parts that get a lot of wear, such as the forearm area, get shiny? Or does it stay matte forever?

Having not seen one in person, I can't honestly answer that.
But, in general, yes, the areas the get rubbed will get shiny.

Depends on how much oil or sweat you have on you. Look at a aged or distressed guitar, they don't get shiny they wear through the finish after a certain amount of use, So it's a yes and no answer.
I know the old saying that the value of an opinion is generally inversely proportional to the strength with which it is held.
