  • Charvel Model 7????

    Hi There
    I am new her so pardon my ignorance in the world of Jacksons/Charvels.
    I have recently come across a used Charvel guitar that I am interested in but I cant find any details on the web.I think it is a Charvel Model 7.
    The guitar is a Telecaster body shape with a maple fretboard and reverse style headstock.
    Two single coil pickups.The guitar is a sort of Lake Placid Blue in Fender terms and seems in reasonable condition.
    Anyone got any information on these guitars. It is for sale for £219 pounds.
    Many Thanks
    Mark

    Sounds like a 7 for sure. I'm not sure about the currency but 219 pounds is like 300 or so american dollars? Here a nice clean 7 is probably worth that tops. They didn't make many of them. I believe they made some with a hum in the bridge? Or maybe the ones I've seen were modded. Hey, if you get it I'll buy the neck from ya!!! God I love those necks!!!!!!!! maple reverse.... Re: Charvel Model 7????

        Is the logo guitar-shaped or is it the "toothpaste" script?

        Guitar = Model 7
        Toothpaste = Legend

        Same guitar, but the Legend had the option of a rosewood board. Just some info. Very cool guitars.

          Thanks for the replies guys.
          The logo is "toothpaste" shaped so I guess that makes it a Legend.
          I have to say it looks very cool, but I thought myself it was probably near the top of the price range for that type of guitar.
          If I get it I would want to make some mods or even transplant the neck myself so the price has got to be good.
          I will let you know how I get on.
          Great forum by the way!!!!
