• EMG HZ's

I'm buying EMG pickups, and I'm wondering if EMG HZ-H4 is compatible with Jackson RR1 (2 humbuckers)? And how to wire them? Is it hard?

    Re: EMG HZ\'s

Any standard format humbucker should fit in the RR1. About compatibility in mixing with pickups of other brands - since the HZ's are passive, they _should_ be compatible with other passives. I can't say for sure though. Aside from that, very few people here (if any) have tried the H4.

As for pickup installation, go to the Tech Q/A forum and search for "soldering". You should find a few useful threads there.

I have the H4's in several of my guitars and they sound great... even better than the active ones, IMO. I can't see a reason why they wouldn't work in conjunction with other passives at all. Good luck.

What do you mean by how you wire them? You don't know how to solder or do you need wiring schematics?
