Thanks dinkyjacksonman! Yea, I didn't think I'd like it. I usually am a "Flametop" kinda guy. I bought it site unseen from Scott Splawn over the phone and had never seen one up close. The pics on the net don't do the finish justice. It's even better looking at it in person.

pedalGEEK-I would say the Jackson logo is real abalone as well as the position markers, if not it's a real good imitation. You get the abalone typical changes of color reflecting in the light as you would with pure abalone. A real nice touch.
