  • Surfcaster 12 string

Didn`t know of this Jackson before I stumbled over a picture of it at accessguitar.com some days ago. The ad says discontinued, so I guess this thing is quite rare nowadays, and they haven`t responded to my mail yet either.
Anybody have some more info about the number made, is it more or less impossible to get hold of now?
I located one in U.K., but they had sold it a couple of days ago of course.

The Jackson Surfcaster 12 string is much rarer than the Charvel version. Rarer still is the elusive double neck Surfcaster. Of those, only 20 were made (5 solid colors and 15 flamed maple tops). I am looking to move my (rare) Jackson Surfcaster 12 string, drop me a line if you are serious, I have high resolution pictures and a great description. Mine has ebony board with MOP sharkfin inlays, two "lipstick tube" pickups, 24 jumbo frets, black with crushed pearl pickguard, body/neck/headstock binding. Very similar in appearance to a Rickenbacker 12 string, but plays like only a Jackson can.

        Thank`s both of you.
        You`ve got PM Charvel750.
STLKINGV, I live in Norway so it`s kind of difficult with that pawn shop thing.
        We`ll see what happens.
