<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Thats kinda like my luck, but for me it is when I want something that perticular thing skyrockets in price. I suddenly felt the urge to own a model one w/ maple board - pref cream color. So I see them everywhere for $125 -$200 depending on shape. So I start to pick some out and they start going for $300 -$350 I actually just bought one cheap the way I wanted it last week, though.
As far as the SLSMG is concerned, they would be complete morons to take something that nice out of the lineup......not that this hasn't happened before. That guitar has the potential to bring ALOT of people over to Jackson. I am still in the honeymoon phase with mine.

Re: Flametop SLSMG Soloist

Well, I'm on red alert for one right now. I was considering a couple different guitars as my next purchase, but my GAS is killing me right now. If I can't find a cheap one soon, I'm gonna finance it or buy it on credit or something.... I've been wanting a guitar in this style for a long time now. Years, in fact. I've been looking for a thin, comfortable Strat-shaped mahogany, double humbucker, string-through guitar for ages. Up until now, the closest I've come is a freakin Ibanez S. Most of those have Floyds and none of them (AFAIK) have 24 frets. OR ebony fretboards.

PS - Has anybody seen the latest ESP ripoff?

Scroll down to the MH-1000 Deluxe

With a couple exceptions, it's the SAME guitar! "Lawsuit" he cried!

I'm in love with mine.
It's just so awesome. To me it's what a PRS should have been. That ebony board and the string thru just make this guitar.

I actually hope that they make a USA version with a different pickup config. Perhaps a S/S/H or H/S/H with coilsplitting. It would be killer and I hope it would be the instrument to get Jackson back in the hands of willing (not bought off) endorsers.

IIRC, esp was making teh string thru body Horizons quite a long time before jackson started making the SLS style guitars.

Hey,wait, stop! Does that mean that ANY dealer can purchase one, even in Norway? Should I contact my dealer in Norway and actually stop crying now. Could this in fact happen, it would make my day. Oh please...

This may get me "lynched" but those ESP's look sweet as heck! I am, without a doubt in MY mind, the biggest USA Jackson fan I know of and I wouldn't buy an ESP unless it was the skull and crossed swords George Lynch axe, but that MH-1000 looks really nice. Cool headstock, nice flame, not too gaudy with the binding.

Stop making SLSMG's? Nah. The finish options will change though... if there's one you really want, I'd get it now. We have a new color for NAMM...

If your Norwegian dealer is an authorized Jackson dealer, they have access to this model. If there is an issue, drop me an email and I'll help sort it out.

Well thank you very much. I`m trying to find out about my dealer right now. What`s fun here in Norway is that suggested retail price for a satin black slsmg is about USD 2600. Beat that!!! So when I see the flametop for USD 800 at musicansfriend, that kind of freakin me out. Have to say that you can get it cheaper at sale here in norway to, but it`s sad to be a Jackson fan here. They are even quite difficult to get a hand on, because there are so few. So pity me, ahh?

I have just answered you at Marios kruneh, but I'll do it here as well.
I think they are authorised since they do custom orders. But I'm just guessing.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Hang on here....Are you saying that an SLSMG in Norway is $2600 (US Dollars)? And thats a good thing??? Ouch!

On Monday I'm shipping 2 necks to a guy in Haugeveien or Gressvik Norway (not sure which name is the town). It's going to cost $30 for a 4-10 day delivery. A couple customs forms that declare its value, and that's it....No big deal.

Have you contacted Mus. Frd. to see if they ship to Norway? If they don't you could Westen Union or PayPal someone in the U.S the money to order one from Mus. Frd., and ship it to you. $799.00 for the guitar, $120.00 for a case, free shipping to the U.S address. Add $80.00 to $110 for 4-10 day shipping to Norway, a few bucks in Western Union fees, and you are in one for around $1000.

Paying $2600 for a SLSMG is crazy. I'm sure someone in this forum would be willing to do that for you. What the hell...I'll do it for you if you are serious.

He he, you might understand that I don`t think that`s funny at all. But this is Norway and here everything is expensive, so come visit
Well, I`m serious, but are you? For me getting that guitar for USD 1200 is just like a dream.
We see what happens...
