• J/C Acoustics?

Since we are all fond of distorted sound of our pickups and the beauty of our electric guitars, what about true acoustic sounds of J/C?

Did they ever produce acoustics?

I have a Charvel 625 a/e that is very full sounding. Very tight bottom end and a neck like a baseball bat. I might also mention that it's for sale

OMG! Cincinnati? Damn, the shipping would be enormous...

Can we make a deal? I'll send you a rubber boat with an engine and $100 in advance. You come to the shores of Portugal and we make the trade.

What do you say?

Dude,
In all seriousness...
I would do that. I'm the adventurous type.

If I'm ever offering something you like, send me a zodiac, with a good motor, and cash, I'de do it.

It may take 3-4 weeks for arrival, but I would think I would make it.

I need to do this sometime.
Take a zodiac about 50 miles to sea, and just head dead north. I'll stop every 3 or 4 days, and head to the nearest shore and ask beach locals where I am.

LOL

I believe all the acoustics were Charvels, and there was a dreadnought shape and a mini-jumbo 625 shape. I think they were plywood guitars, but the 625s had nice abalone purfling and inlays... the shell itself is probably worth more than the wood. <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'm crazy enough too to drive 1500 miles in way from middle Europe to the South just to get the guitar.

Every 250 miles I should stop at the gas station to fill the car... That estimates 6 stops in one way, 12 in both direction. The ordinary price of petrol in europe is app. $9 per gallon multiplying with 17 gallons (volume of the car tank)... that is... $1836 + rubber boat and advantage. Wow, nice number. Jackson would made me a custom made signature bla bla acoustic for that money, hrhr.

Charvel ATX acoustic/elec. Rather rare color. I have yet to see another over a few years.

heh heh heh you guys crack me up !! I want to sell cause the size of the neck. I have small hands and this neck is uncomfortable for me. Besides that, it is beautiful and if I had any money at all to play with I would keep this just to have another J/C guitar in the collection
I didn't realize that you were in Portugal

What's the going rate for your acoustic? I've been considering picking up one. (I'd love to pick up an ATX if it's available)
