Model 88, very nice Guits!! I am thinking about order a Carvin DC125 in 2004, 1 Hum in Natural Mahogany on Matte Satin finish, but I am now torn between a pickup with ring or direct mount like the Bolt + model, since you own both a DC127 and bolt + which would you reccomend and why, pickup with ring or direct mount? Thanks-Jack.

Thanks Jack !! Personally I like the way the direct mount looks and so far I am happy with the C22B pickup I have in there.They say it compares to the Duncan JB but I think it sound a bit hotter.I can not hear any difference they both have about the same amount of sustain.The only problem with the direct mount is that if your not happy with Carvins pickups it is more work to fit Duncans,Dimarzios , etc.Carvin uses three adjustment screws on there pickups were everyone else use two.Which means drilling two small holes to make it fit the body.
