Well at least in a VERY LONG time. I finnally got to go out and play after waiting for 2 years.
I just couldn't seem to get a whole band together and the 1 that did call me actually sucked horrible, but the band I'm in now is the one that I metioned a while back here with the bad bass player.
He is so bad at times in practice that I was thinking of doing this one show and then quiting. Somehow he managed to be 400 times better at this show and didn't really sound to bad.
It actually turned out to be pretty good and the club owner booked us for 2 more shows.
After foolin with my gear the first set I was able to make it sound great, it was exactly what I wanted. My Marshall head was able to give me a great clean sound and I've heard that isn't the case most of the time.
I had the power cut switch in the low position for the first set, thinking I may have been to loud, but I didn't like the sound I was getting. I was told by a few people in the crowd, including a forum member that my marshall actually sounded like a Mesa Boogie.
It was just kinda muffled and I didn't like it, so I put it up to full power and all the sudden it was cruchy and clear and sounded great. I just had to crank it a bit, but the sound guy said I wasn't too loud fortunatly.
My jackson and My charvel copy were screamin and looked way cool on the stage
I had to use my brothere Epiphone Les Paul for 2 songs that were tuned down though and at first I wasn't happy about it, BUT It actaully sounded pretty good. I gave him a Dunncan Custom Custom for it and it was pretty fat sounding.
I'd like to thank Jason ( Ranalli) for comeing out and checking us out.
