        In addition to being completely subjective, pickups sound different in different guitars.

        THAT SAID, I second the motion that the J90C is a fine pickup.

        Definitely a tad midrangy, but its pronounced boost in the upper mids makes stupid feedback tricks a breeze.

        I tried swapping the J90C out of one of my Jacksons with a couple other pickups, but both times went back to the trusty J90C. I'd love to try a J95 if someone has one for sale.

        I should add that I never did like the Jackson J50BC humbucker in my model 4 very much.
