  • Need some help identify this 1986 Dinky

Dear folks, a few days back when we were digging through our man vault, we found this baby in mint condition, it has only one pickup but it sounds killer.
But we can not identify the maker of the guitar, my friend said it maybe from Jason Davis, but I can’t be sure from the signature. As I couldn’t find the way to post pictures, I included a link to my post, please forgive me if this is considered onappropriate.

I have emailed jackson and JD himself, so far no luck.

    Thanks for any help.

It's a bigger/rounded Strat body and not a Dinky. Not sure who Jason Davis is.

Serial number makes it a 1987 Ontario era Jackson strat.
Single hum bolt-on, solid white paint, strat body (not Dinky), and a Kahler.
Not worth very much... $500-$600... if that.

Jason Davis was a masterbuilder with Jackson from the late 80's to mid 90's give or take a few years, I don't have specifics, but he left for Fender when Jackson was still "the mothership". I'm not sure where he is now. I think he left Fender some time in the mid 00's. His Fender builds are desirable, per Tim from TMZ.

The Koa Stagemaster I owned was one of his CS builds.
