    Opera web browser
from the home page when not signed in, clicking "forum" gives me this warning. Clicking "what's new" does not.
From the home page, signing in first will take me to the "forum" automatically, but the icon beside the address shows as a warning.
Once on the forum page, some of the categories will not open, others work fine.

Something's been up for a few months.
    96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

I get this on about every other attempt to get here on Chrome. Seems there's a redirect going on somewhere.

A few weeks ago I was redirected to another site on chrome (on mobile) and got the malicious prompt. Haven't had the issue repeat itself so I assumed I had typed the url wrong.

Sorry guys, thought I had fixed that redirect issue quite awhile ago. Some old deactivated plugin got exploited and added that weird redirect. Should now be fixed.

As far as the unsecured notices on sign in, browsers have been pushing sites to go https lately which is rather useless when just passing a forum password.

I may be upgrading the platform to vbulletin 5 here in the near future (responsive/ mobile friendly) and may just grab a ssl cert to enable https to get rid of this annoyance.

Yeah I had that malicious site warning for a long time here. For the last several months I've only been using my iPad to come here to to play it safe.

I run/own a very large VB4-based site as well. We are actually in the process of preparing for a forum software upgrade. @Sandman if I can help with anything let me know. Just PM or email me. I'd also be curious to know which plugin was compromised.
