    Always loved the BOF finish since i played that freakin' awesome Dinky at Sam Ash in LA.
    Should have bought it right away... could punch myself that i didnt!!!
    My question is... are there any other Jackson or Charvel models with that paint out there?
    Would love to see some if they're there!!!

    It's a classic Charvel graphic, and there was the Jackson DK2?(?) version, but that's the only 'model' as such that I can recall that had it. Here's my Charvel:

    Popular is not the same as good
    Rare is not the same as valuable

        Must have been the Jackson DK2 that i played. It was def. a Jackson thats for sure! But the Charvel is SAF!!!
        Tho i am not a big fan of strat headstocks!!!

          Yep, the DK2 is the only production model I can think of that had BOF.

                Those DK2 BOF's were hand painted and signed by the artist. The small markings below the tone knob on the pic above is the artist's signature.
                96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.
