Jackson RR Concept

Ran into this CL deal but I have no clue what kind of RR is this. The $175 price with hard case seems extremely tempting, but other than the low res pictures there's not much info about it. Also it looks like a hard tail or tune o matrix style bridge which I really dig over FR. Anyway, should I jump all over this?

That's a JRR 94 Concept Rhoads. Made in Japan in '93-'94.
They're listed in the catalogue as poplar body.

If the guitar is in good shape, $175 with a hard case is a steal.
$250-300 for the guitar alone would be a great deal in my opinion...if the guitar is in great shape.

Oh interesting. Yeah the pickups look like SD but hard to tell.

The necks has a different taper that the others, not 100% sure of the measurements but I've heard that they have a smaller nut width.

Seems like I might still have a chance. Apparently he's holding it for the first guy, but I told him I could've bought that guitar yesterday and now he's considering. I personally honor "dibs" for friends, but for strangers, cash first is king.

Lol that fine print is funny. I too suck at playing guitar, but it's all about having fun. Usually we don't suck as bad as we think.

With the case that's a great deal and it looks to be in great condition. I hope you end up getting it. I love my RR Concept, it's nice and light. It's my beater, but I souped it up a bit.

No, not at all. Most of the parts came fro StewMac, with the exception of the true Bill Lawrence pickup.
