An Intro

I finally decided to join the "family" here. Hello everybody. My name is Jeff and from San Diego. I was just a reader here over a year and a half, the same time I got serious in electric guitars. My job is 2 miles from the Carvin factory, thus my first baby is a 2002 red DC 127. I learned a lot on this forum and the result is my second baby which is a black 2003 USA DK1 and proud to say that I got it from Matt at OSG. Ordered it in January, got it in June! It was a long wait for something common but I survived. I went with Doug Marks metal method and play just for self enjoyment and I'm having a lot of fun. I play mostly Black Sabbath, Slayer and Metallica. Just the rhythm no leads yet. It's pretty hard to squeeze in an hour a night to play guitar between family commitments and housework but I manage somehow. Can I email someone a picture of my 2 guitars? I don't know how to post! Swillmaster: I haven't been to a metal show here in SD for a long time now. The last one I went to was in LA on a Halloween night: Grim Reaper with Witch as the opening act. That was back in the 80's! I guess there's not enough drive in me to go to shows anymore.
Dinkyjacksonman: Yes, 1 1/2 years; mainly for 2 reasons. 1-I just got a digital camera and I know you guys require pics. As you can see, I'm not good at it. 2- I didn't have guts because I'm an inferior player and I'm not in the same level as you guys are. But, again, what I learn (from this forum) is that as long as I'm having fun with the equipment and ability that I have that's all it matters.
