A U.S. penny is listed as 1.55mm, a quarter 1.75mm, nickel 1.95, half-dollar 2.15mm and a Canadian quarter is 1.58mm if anyone wanted a quick 12th fret measurement.96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

If we're talking brand I use D'Addario all the time. I have tried just about every brand of strings out there and for me they are the best no matter what gauge.This is what I think of Gibson since 1993.I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED!
