  • Do they make an ebony bolt on neck without binding?

    Just as the title says.

Wondering if Jackson/Grover Jackson/Charvel ever made a guitar with a 22/24 fret bolt on neck with ebony and sharkfins without binding?

I seen these on the Doug Aldrich guitars, but did they come on any other models?

I had a Jackson with graph like graphics that was like that. It has a 22 fret bolt-on maple neck with an ebony fretboard and sharkfin inlays minus the binding. Msaint65, a member on here owns it now. It is a nice ass guitar in my opinion

Most guitars like this would be pre-Select Series... meaning they were all custom spec'd back then. Late 80's guitars were like that. I've had a few.

Sadly, I sucked at photography a decade ago... and my hard drive with all the cool stuff crashed. I don't have a large copy of this picture... wish I hadn't sold her... Baby Blue:

The Jackson RR2 has a 22 fret blank binding-less board, with bolt on neck.

Yep, with no inlays. The COW 6 and 7 models also have painted bolt-on necks with no inlays.
