  • Anyone Know what model Jackson this is?

A friend of mine gave me this busted and broken Jackson. The body is beyond saving. I'm going to salvage the parts and build a new guitar around them. I'd like to know what model it is and where to possibly find a body and neck for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did some more looking at it. It has active pickups, One volume, one tone, mini toggle switch and a Jackson Floyd Rose on it. It's stamped USA in the pocket.

Thanks Len, After some digging I've figured out it was made in Ontario, CA. Do you know of anywhere I can do a serial number look up on it?

Neg on the Ontario serial number, but a plate number might help.
Any back story on what happened?
          Wheres the neck?

The neck plate says Ontario, CA on it. the serial number is 001051. From what my friend told me. He threw it in a fit of rage over his girlfriend at the time and this was the result. Believe it or not it was in the case. The case's latches are busted up as well. He kept the neck for a project guitar he was doing.

1991 Fusion with Space Lust graphic.

The toggle switch was for a JE1500 wah type effect, pickups were J50 in the bridge, J200s in neck & middle.

The fusions were 24 3/4 scale, so you would need a 24 3/4 scale neck for it (although I don't think that will be an issue ).

                  No problem.

If you are going to use the parts, the pickups are actually passive. They are designed to work with the active electronics (the JE1500 mid sweep filter) but are not active pickups.

The tone knob controls the mid sweep when it is activated by the mini toggle.

Space Lust is the correct name, thanks Ward.

And it's not Ontario Canada, it's Ontario California. Some 20-ish miles from San Dimas/Glendora.

Question: Was this a one off, or are there more guitars with this graphic?

                            It was a production graphic.

I used to own this 1990 dinky:

Next time he should just throw the girlfriend.
