Ehh... all props to the guy, but Machine
Head isn't going anywhere that's going to sell a bunch of Jacksons. This one, I say let ESP have him.

Sorry.

When's the last time you looked at the Jackson front page? Checked the artist list? He's in both locations (and has been for a few months). Phil rules.

McD out

lerxstcat, is the only thing that matters is how popular a band is to be endorsed?

Personally, I'd rather see quality players get endorsements...

So if you were running Jackson, all you'd be trying to sign would be Linkin' Park, Disturbed, Korn, Metallica and bands like that?

That would turn most of the people that I know play jacksons away.

Wow, Phil's in Machine Head now? I haven't followed them in awhile, but always thought he and Rob were awesome together in Violence!

Re: Jackson needs to endorse Phil Demmel

Xeno, since endorsements are about selling guitars, yeah I'd focus on more popular artists. Machine Head didn't seem too special to me when they came out
15 years ago - pretty dull in fact, and I haven't seen them take the world by storm. Having said that, it looks like the guy IS endorsed per McD - probably a deal like Dave and Steve had, I bet. Power to him that he has a job playing.

I think most Jackson players of today play them because of who their heroes were 20 years ago, so that part of your statement makes no sense.

And yeah, Marty Friedman is with Ibanez now, so Jackson is probably slow to take off the names of POPULAR endorsers they have canned.
