I was hitting the pawn shops in SF this weekend and saw a Modified charvel star body. Neck was correct and plate on back was 1600's. the body looked modified and stripped and not sure if original.Their were 2 knobs and 1 pickup selector. Floyd Rose was added and 2 american duncans. They were asking $900, but I understand they will take less. the name of the shop is Real Guitars in San Francisco. It wasn't my speed, but maybe someone could check it out. Always looking for something cool!

I've seen a lot of Jacksons/Charvels going for very reasonable prices in the area lately. GC in Concord has had some nice quality used imports coming and going lately.
Have you been to the place on 3rd and Market that has had the same two Jacksons for the past 4 years and they won't budge on the $700 they're asking for them? If I recall, one is a red Kelly and the other is a an ugly grey Dinky.
