can you mod a dimarzio to fit?

Yeah, that little lip/flange should be able to be clipped, just be careful of the wires.

You know, after looking at pictures of them, I'd have to agree.
Looks like the wires just go through a hole in that lip, so it should be able to be (carefully) removed and fit just fine without modding the body at all.

That's a mad idea i will ask him today, so then after that all he would need to do is make a larger tunnel to fit the wires? i could do that myself with my dremel,
