The crackle is a Model 5FX neckthru. Tough to swap a neck on one of these.

Oh, KVX10 is more eye candy than anything. It looks badass, plays well too. I just can't bond with the body shape. Groomed on strat shape guitars has me stuck playing them. I even have a tough time playing Les Paul shapes.
