What are these signs? (on reverse Jackson headstock)
Thank you all. Your wisdom and knowledge is... is simply... well, is documented in this thread, you assholes!
You've given us nothing to work with except one pic. Is this a rhetorical question/trivia game? Is this guitar in your possession or is this just a pic you found?
We can't tell you what it is just from that pic.

Well Newc, you could tell if you knew something about it. If you don't, then you can't. Simple. Investigations have to start somewhere, right?
The guitar in question was one of Doug Aldrich's USA custom shop guitars from back in 1993 or 1994. He usually had shark teeth cut into the tip of the headstock, 4 upper and 6 lower, but not this one apparently. I do not have this guitar. I have the picture.
I have now asked the question on the official DA forum, but that forum is just about dead. Doug is reading it though, but not very often. Especially not at the moment due to a new WS album.

Then do you know who owns it currently?
Yes, investigations do have to start somewhere, and while we here at the JCF have long prided ourselves on knowing some rather obscure facts, there are some things - especially as relates to specific Custom Shop details - that we're simply not privvy to. In this specific example, it does appear to be something Doug wanted on his guitar. Whether it's batshit, buggers, blood stains, or a couple of military service pins he found in a pawnshop in Brussels and hammered into it himself very poorly, we don't know. Since it's rather boring to say "I dont' know", you're going to get wise-ass answers.

Nope, information about these DA models are close to non-existant in this part of the internet world. Toru (DJM) once wrote that his Japanese friend, while living in Hollywood, bought "many" of Doug's Jackson guitars when he sold them back in ´94 or ´95. That's it.

And I enjoy that compared to silence. I noticed that Doug actually visited the DA forum earlier today, but my thread over there still says 0 replies, unfortunately. I think it's pretty cool that he pops in now and then.
