• New Finishes Available after NAMM

Hmmm. Stumbled upon these while surfing for some guitar porn. Notice the blocks with "New Color - Available in July".

Sounds like some new finishes that will be available after NAMM next week? Some of them sound cool. Very interested to see what "raspberry burst" might look like.

Probably a purpleburst ala Jake

I wanna see:

Silver Black Dragon

Bolted Steel (same as the old graphic?)

Graveyard

Nebula

Silver Swirl (Same as Crimson Swirl in Silver?)

Newc
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

I was thinking it might be similar to the purpleburst on the older mid-90s DK1s. I guess we'll have to wait a couple of weeks to find out.

And, yeah, the Silver Black Dragon might be cool, too.

I'm hoping it will look something like this

You never see them anywhere.

Bob, I'm pretty sure the color of that guitar is the currently-offered Ultra-Violet Burst. Why they changed the name of the finish there, I don't know.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ultra-Violet Burst was in the 2002 catalog which, until the 2003 catalog is released after next week's NAMM show, is the most-recent list of available finishes. If you're serious, call a dealer to confirm this and order the guitar.

Just because you don't see it often, doesn't mean a color's not available. Heck, Sea Foam Green is offered, but I've never seen one made in the past several years. Generally, the catalogs are the guide and a dealer can tell you for sure.

TD, that guitar's finish looks very similar to the trans-blue burst of this DK1 in the JCF Gallery:

http://www.jcfonline.com/gallery/jac...-pics/4837.jpg

A litle darker, maybe. Or it could just be the pic, lighting, whatever. With transparent finishes, there's always some variance from guitar to guitar.

It's not likely to be the DK1 purpleburst I was referring to earlier. That's more of a red-to-dark purple burst. Close to the Euphoria on current PC1s. Might even be the same color with a different name, but the DK1 purples have mostly looked a little darker to my eye.

Yeah I know, Current.

But the finish isn't listed on jacksonguitars.com
And the only other time I've seen it(except that pic) is when someone from here posted pictures from the custom shop about a month ago.

A KE2 in that finish would be

Will do so when it's time. But I think I'll be in for a long wait, If I place an order for one.

Hopefully there will be more of em coming after Namm, with the Fender managemant and all.
