    I'll 2nd the EB Super Slinky's ,that's all I use.

    More than likely it's the Duncans that changes it's tone,The Tone Zone is so happy with that "open" wah type tone <MIDRANGE> and is very bassy. .I might add.

    Congrats,sounds like it's up to par from you wrote. The fine tuners are smaller/turn harder than the orignals,did you notice?

      FYI - I knocked a good sized chunk off the neck pocket on the treble side putting my neck back on - that stuff is pretty thick. I'll see if I can take a snapshot of it.

        Thick finish = darker tone, I bet!
