Gilmour kills me, always has. Many are faster, but if a guitarist's talent is measured by the number of hairs raised on the listener's body, few are better.

Saw a DVD a couple of months ago, he was just sitting playing old Floyd licks on the original guitars....never heard so much fret buzz in my life..but the way he plays..I may never level another fretboard again!!...Many neckhairs raised!!

Can you remember what DVD it was? His solos always work for me, wish I had 1% of the sound he has in his fingers as well.

I think this one is a charvel neck, it just happens to be attached to a charvel body as well by the looks of it!

So I cut a trem arm short. I had an extra FR trem arm that wouldn't stay tight, so I took a Dremel to it.

Cut it right at the bend, and then smoothed it over so there wouldn't be any sharp points.

Cutting it there makes it a tad too short. Best thing would be to heat it and bend it straight, and then cut a couple of inches off of it.


Or, buy one if they sell one short.

Still trying to get hold of my buddy who has the DVD...I think it was in the "bonus tracks" part of the David Gilmour Live..came out around 2002...not 100% sure though.

I've been told it's a HA, which is just a SA in a humbucker housing.

My 89 in split mode sounds different. But then I don't play like D.G. either
