I have seen 2 diffrent specs for neck backshapes for charvels. What are the diffrences? 750-810 and classic 735-850

The first one is the pointy spec and the second is the strathead spec. I have one of each. The 12th fret thickness is pretty close to the spec on both of mine, but my strathead is a bit thicker than .735 at the 3rd fret. It's thicker than the pointy pretty much all the way up the neck, rather than having more of a taper like the spec suggests. There's probably some individual variance on them all. -
Yep, my Strathead is .750" - .850".

So is the 750-810 pointy spec available on a CS Charvel or is it another upcharge? They only list 3 choices on the quote form. San Dimas, SL1 type or Speed neck?Comment
