Neck thru Surfcasters?

I'ver seen a cpl of neckthru Surfcasters along the way! Are those standard or are they CS options only!

I always thought that Surfcasters are hollow. A neck-through SC wouldn't make much sense in my opinion.

A true surfcaster (the early ones) will have the F hole. The solid body versions are also known as Outcasters. And there are some neck-thru versions of those out there. In fact, I just sold mine (green, w/charvel logo). I think you can still see it on page 6 of the Jackson custom shop archives (along with a black one). There is also a really cool one w/pointy head and floyd...looks to be korina. Way sweet.
