Has anyone successfully fixed the peeling clear coat on their SD Charvel headstock? It seems almost every US pointy head has this problem and it would be great to find a way to fix the clear coat without harming the decal underneath. Anyway to remove the top layer only?

Good question. Mine are actually intact but I seee damaged headstocks now and again.
I would expect that this is tough and may be considered a "refin" such that most of the usual suspects may not do it.
